OUR CO-FOUNDING PARTNERS
Steve Muir, Sr.
Co-Founder, Heeling Soles
Steve and his family own and operate the Heeling Soles charitable organization that was established 10 years ago. They have collected and donated thousands of new and used sneakers, coats and other much needed supplies to those in need at various points around the globe. The family run organization has no reservations about providing clothing and footwear for people who really need! They have even provided coats, socks and shoes to the less fortunate in L.A.'s notorious "Skid Row".
Heeling Soles also does work in the community that addresses bullying, gang affiliation, crime and food insecurities.
“Although Heeling Soles belongs to, and also serves the world community, we are always grounded in the fact that the first steps in effecting change start at home. We are thrilled to embark on this journey with our partners in providing a space to mentor, educate and provide opportunity within the sneaker culture and industry all while emphasizing awareness of using the gained knowledge and opportunities to give back.”

“There are moments in life where the difference in changing a person's life for the better is confined to one thing, that is opportunity. Greatness is within every person however it needs to be cultivated and guided. The successes of my career and life’s journey are the embodiment of this statement. There is greatness in the youth of Brooklyn, my birthplace. For me there is no better place to establish a facility of opportunity, a place where people can learn and have access to the 100 billion dollar global sneaker industry. This school will be the jump off to transforming lives. I’m honored to be a part of it.”
